Applications sought to conduct meetings, workshops, and symposia to bring together academic institutions/organizations and community organizations to identify opportunities for addressing health disparities through the use of Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR).

Pre-Proposals must be submitted to the Mississippi Research Consortium (MRC) through institutional research offices (University of Mississippi, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs)

Notify vcrsp@olemiss.edu if you expected to be included in a letter of intent for this solicitation, as either a PI or a co-PI. You must inform VCRSP of the planned letter of intent even if the  letter is being submitted by someone besides you—even  someone from another institution.

The UM Vice Chancellor for Research and Sponsored Programs (VCRSP) is soliciting requests for talented young faculty in the chemical sciences who are interested in being nominated for a Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award from the Camille & Henry Dreyfus Foundation, Inc. [the Foundation].

Scientific inquiry is creative and competitive. Increasingly, scientists must also be collaborative to compete successfully for resources and projects. Collaboration is especially key to the competitiveness of researchers in small states with limited means.

A White House Press Release, and a new NSF Web page, highlight "NSF's efforts to clear the obstacles," such as marriage and childbirth, " from the STEM Career-Life pathways leading from graduate education to full professors." These efforts include foundation wide policies and procedures designed to provide more flexible pathways for STEM moms in academic careers, as well

The SRN competition is to support the development inter-institutional multidisciplinary research teams to address large-scale questions and challenges within a nationally important theme in sustainability science, engineering, and education (SEES).

SEES Fellows will partner across disciplines on sustainability challenges reflecting the fellows’ own research interests. The fellows will pursue discoveries that inform environmental, energy, and societal sustainability, while developing the professional skills to become part of a workforce that can address these challenges.
