NIH- Interventions Testing Program (ITP) Application Form for Sponsors of Longevity Intervention Proposals

Program:  The National Institute of Aging (NIA) initiated the ITP to evaluate compounds or diets thought to extend longevity in mice by delaying or decelerating the aging process.

NSF- Instrument Development for Biological Research

Program:  The Instrument Development for Biological Research (IDBR) Program  supports the development, production, and distribution of novel instrumentation that addresses demonstrated needs in biological research in areas supported by NSF Biology programs (see http://www.nsf.gov/bio). These systems would benefit a broad user community through mass distribution of the technology. Interdisciplinary collaborations are strongly encouraged, as are partnerships with U.S.

Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program Short Term Projects

Program:  The U.S. Department of Education and the International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) offices upport the Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program opportunity.  Under the program, funds will support overseas projects in training, research, and curriculum development in modern foreign languages and area studies for teachers, students, and faculty engaged in a common endeavor.  Projects may include short-term seminars, curriculum development, or group research/study.

AACP Launches a New Website on Research Funding Opportunities

AACP (The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy)  launches  a new web page on their site that provides many links for faculty members to directly search for funding opportunities and deadlines in chosen research fields. These include federal agencies, non-federal research associations and foundations, and a section of additional funding opportunities that may not be broadly distributed.

DHS S&T SBIR Phase 1 Solicitation
