NOAA Coastal Management Fellowship Program 2014

Program:  NOAA and the Mississippi/Alabama Sea Grant Consortium invite post-masters students from diverse disciplines who are interested in state-level coastal issues to apply for 2-year paid fellowships. Selected finalists will be placed with state coastal resource agencies in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Florida, New Jersey, or Puerto Rico, where they will work on projects related to coastal management.

Eligibility:  Any current or recent student who will have completed a master's, doctoral, or professional degree program between January 1, 2013, and July 31, 2014 is eligible to apply. There are no limits to the number of UM postgraduate students who can apply; however, the MS/AL Sea Grant Consortium may only endorse and forward three such applications, consortium-wide, to NOAA for further consideration/competition.
