The intent of this Post-Award Resource Guide for Principal Investigators is to provide general information to guide university principal investigators in the post-award administration of externally sponsored projects. Sections provide overviews on the award process, project management, fiscal management, and effort reporting. When the approval or guidance of other university offices is required, such as the Accounting Office or the Department of Human Resources, this guide identifies the issues and directs you to the appropriate office.
