The University of Mississippi, through the ORSP, provides a variety of other types of support for faculty research, scholarship and creative activities. These types of support include matching funds and cost-sharing on proposals; start-up funds for beginning faculty; and support for conferences, colloquium speakers, publications, and other research and scholarly activities that may not fall into the more formal programs of internal support.
