From Internet II to commercialization of research, the Fall Research Forum Series will address a host of topics relevant to those conducting research at The University of Mississippi. Three confirmed forums are planned for the semester, all beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the Tupelo Room of Barnard Observatory. Since fall í98, a website created by two UM researchers has been demonstrating how the Internet can be used to generate, transmit, and archive data, and then make the data available to the global community.
