A team at NASA and the Stennis Space Center (NASA/SSC) is seeking a collaborator knowledgeable in radioactive hydrogent effluent filter technology to assist in evaluating exhaust scrubbing technology requirements for nuclear thermal propulsion (NTP) engines--engines that could reduce risk and transit time for humans to Near-Earth Objects and/or Mars.
Any UM faculty/researcher interested in this opportunity may view the attached Scope of Work document. Proposals and budgets are due by Tuesday, June 25. Please work with your ORSP Program Development Specialists (Ken, Lesha, or Mickey) to submit your proposals. Questions about project itself can be directed to Karen Hoselle, MRC Project Coordinator, Stennis Space Center, at 228.688.2751 or karen.hoselle@nasa.gov.
