UT Knoxville Sensing and Signaling Summer 2014 Research Experiences for Undergraduates

Program:  UT Knoxville’s Department Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology invites undergraduate science students to apply for hands-on summer research opportunities. Those selected will experience a paid introduction to cutting-edge research in the broad area of “Sensing and Signaling”—the analysis of how signals are perceived and transduced in biological systems. Funded from NSF award DBI-1156744.

Eligibility:  Undergraduate students who are US citizens or permanent residents are eligible to apply/compete for limited slots. Rising sophomore and junior undergraduate science majors, minorities, women, and first-generation college students are strongly encouraged to apply. However, UM students are NOT eligible to apply.
